WHAT IS BIBLICAL BROKENNESS?

When we speak about brokenness we are not speaking about the brokenness the world offers.

There is nothing BEAUTIFUL in the brokenness of the world that leaves people traumatized, depressed, addicted to medications or alcohol, alone, and emotionally and mentally damaged.

Many times, we only define brokenness as a result of coming from something we violently lost, something taken from us, or an emotional, mental, or physical trauma we have experienced.

Biblical brokenness, however, is not this.

Biblical brokenness is not something we suffered.

Biblical brokenness is not unresolved pain whereby we are seen as victimized.

Biblical brokenness is not a broken heart.
